The Amérique Expo, meeting point for racing professionals For many years, this event has been a highly anticipated gathering for racing professionals. Formerly known as Étalon Expo, Amérique Expo has been completely reinvented this year, bringing a distinct American flair to mark the opening of the Prix d’Amérique Festival. From 8:00 a.m., the Grand Hall of the Paris-Vincennes Racecourse will host nearly 100 exhibitors from France and abroad, coming together to share their passion and expertise in a welcoming atmosphere that encourages exchange and discussion. The International Village, located in the Petit Hall, will host six countries representing their equestrian and racing industries. Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, and Ireland will once again participate, while Great Britain makes its first appearance-a strong sign of their commitment to developing trotting racing across the Channel.
1 race and 18 unique stories to tell : meet the players behind the 18 runners of the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race Traditionally held on Thursday, the pre-race press conference takes on a new dimension this year. A special opening ceremony will bring together the key players behind all 18 competitors, offering an in-depth overview of the contenders. Both the media and visitors of Amérique Expo will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the teams behind the runners in the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race, including owners, breeders, trainers, and drivers. Each contender has a unique story to tell, shared first-hand by the very people who help create champions.
Exclusive guided tour of the Paris-Vincennes race track For the first time, the Société du Trotteur Français is offering a guided tour of the famous Paris-Vincennes track-a unique experience open to all visitors and racing enthusiasts. After entering the track at the starting point, enjoy a bird’s-eye view from the top of the hill, take the final turn, and race down the home stretch at full speed, with the chance to raise your arms in triumph on the track’s official podium! The tours will be conducted in French (1:00 p.m.) and in English (1:30 p.m.) and are free of charge upon registration, either on site at the France stand in the International Village or by email at marianne.simonnot@letrot.com.
Conferences, covering sales and round tables Other highlights of this key day for trotting professionals include Equirencontres round tables organized in collaboration with Boehringer Laboratories, covering topics such as equine influenza and genomics. This will be followed by an exclusive covering sale, with proceeds going to the racehorse retraining association Passerelle. The day will conclude with conferences organized by Equicer.
| Arqana Prix d’Amérique auction In the evening, all eyes return to the magnificent Paris-Vincennes Racecourse, illuminated for the day’s final highlight-the eagerly awaited Arqana Prix d’Amérique Auction.
